Poll: Do you think Marcia Mayeda should be held accountable for issuing orders to destroy emails?

Marcia Mayeda told the Daily News, "The DEA visit to the shelter had already been completed and was over and done with, so clearly there was no attempt to hide anything because the whole event had already passed." This is in response to an email she sent to her staff stating, "i agree that everyone did an outstanding job on this matter! However, we do not need a paper trail on this. Everyone, please delete these e-mails from your computers and empty the trash files. Thanks!"

William Fujoka told the Daily News, "There was no intent to impede or obstruct any DEA action."

Do you think Marcia Mayeda should be held accountable? Take the below survey to voice your opinion on this matter.

Mayeda should be held accountable for this and above all, HAVING NO COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS- doesn't care because she doesn't need to. I can only speculate how she treats them behind closed doors. I truly hope that her staff will one day have the courage to bring to light the horrible neglect the animals have suffered as a result of her mismanagement. I certainly believe in karma and it DOES NOT look good for her. ATTENTION MAYEDA: Whenever anything bad happens to you just remember- YOU'VE EARNED IT!

And she won't be held accountable because holding her accountable would also make the Supervisors, Fujioka the County CEO, and everyone else (auditor controller, county counsel) accountable and that just CANNOT HAPPEN! It simply can't. They are not there to be accountable. If they believe in accountability, they would not be in their positions. Any dissident to this practice of NOT being accountable would be weeded out so fast, simply because there is NO ROOM for anyone who would believe in (even for 3/4 of an ounce) in doing the right thing.

It's beyond me how Marcia Mayeda still has her job. She should not be holding any job in which she is in charge of a living, breathing being. Why are we still talking about this? It's been years...she needs to go and we need to start making noise to make this happen.
